Description:
Vidoflex 6 from Gallagher is a twisted polywire for short electric fences, such as a slightly smaller plot or to divide, split, or set up plots. Six stainless steel wires of 0.20 mm are evenly distributed through the 2.5 mm thick wire and ensure reliable current transfer.
Reliable conduction
Vidoflex 6 wire has a resistance of 3.8 Ω/m and offers sufficient conduction for distances up to 500 metres. In practice, it can also be well used in longer fences, as long as it is used as a flexible (mobile) fence. Often, in that case, there is a high-conductive (metal) wire present in the grid to conduct the current to the furthest point.
Weather-resistant and UV-stabilised for long life
The UV-stabilised plastic wires are resistant to all weather conditions, ensuring the wire remains supple for years without becoming brittle. Vidoflex 6 has a 5-year UV guarantee.
White polywire is designed to be extra visible. The white colour contrasts with grass, dirt, and vegetation, making the wire clearly recognisable in various environments. This helps to keep animals at a distance and reduces the chance that they will walk through the wire.
Terra polywire has a warm, brown hue that visually blends into the landscape and is therefore less noticeable to the human eye. This colour is particularly suitable for locations where the fence should not be dominantly present.
