Gallagher TurboLine Rope (200m – 500m)

The TurboLine rope from Gallagher is the best and safest rope for livestock, horses, and wildlife. This braided rope is suitable for short and long distances, both permanent and mobile. With a thickness of 6+ mm, it is highly visible and has a large contact surface, reducing the chance that animals accidentally walk through the fence and injure themselves.

Extremely low resistance for perfect conduction

With an extremely low resistance of 0.06 Ω/m, this rope conducts much better than standard rope. This is due to the three tinned copper wires in the centre, allowing the electric fence to remain well-powered, even at distances of more than 500 metres. Additionally, there are eight stainless steel wires braided into the edges, ensuring the entire contact surface is energised.

Durable and wear-resistant

Due to its braided structure, the Turboline rope remains intact better during regular winding and unwinding and when damaged. It also stretches significantly less than cheaper twisted cords, keeping it better tensioned and requiring less maintenance. This reduces the risk of injury, as a well-tensioned rope breaks sooner. The likelihood of entanglement is also lower, for example, if a horse rolls near the fence.

Breaks in a controlled manner under pressure

With a tensile strength of 430 kg, the rope does not break with falling branches or pushing animals, but does when an animal runs into it. Ensure the rope is tensioned and use sturdy insulators and (corner) posts, otherwise these may break before the rope.
